Candles have cried silently through sleepless nights,
Appalled by the sorrow of the fading light,
Remorse with the sadness of a dying moon,
Lethargic to joys of a silly cartoon.

 

Oh, poor candles to have suffered so much; 
Crying and fading and dying and such.
Robust and full was it's snow white stare,
Unhindered by the pain of a heart's flare.

Zzzz, sleep now my candles you have been great company, I wont forget how softly you whispered, "finally...”
