I've walked down so many paths in life.
Some were wrong and some were right!
I still continue my journey down a twisted trail,
never being able to figure out what is real!
It seems my life will never know change.
Eveything that happens to me is familarly strange.
I open a new door with all these hopes and dreams,
then it just comes crashing down, or so it seems!
I've wondered, waited, hoped and prayed;
yet through all of my heartache, my soul is still slayed!
How do I break this chain I've been cursed to posess?
It keeps pulling me under and I'm feeling depressed!
How do you fix the broken soul and heart within?
What does it take and where do I even begin?
I just keep finding myself right back here,
where I'm consumed with thoughts of hopelessness and fear!
I need to find shelter, a way out of the rain!
Is there anyone who can free me of my unbreakable chain?
