    Sadness

Do you see what I can see?
The colors are dim, grey and black!
It's a place I went to and can't seem to get back.
It swallows me whole, it blinds my enitre heart.
Deeper and deeper I fall in this hole,
into the nothing it takes all of my control!
Tears of pain and salt I taste.
Everything is wrong and it's all a waste-
    of time!
Hollow inside, cold to the touch,
I've never been consumed by anything this much!
    Where's my escape?
    Where's my home?
Into the sadness I go all alone!

i really like this poem. i couldnt explain sadness any better

A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.

    Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
