Unbeknown
A seed
Must have been planted over a decade ago
Germination slow
So slow, yet it feels so right
The Light------it shines
Blinds
Appears a cascade of time
So bright
The rain falls
Refusing to witness the light
The seed's growth stalls
Somehow slowly & steadily the roots continue to crawl
Deeper
Deeper
Weed her
Feed her
Finally a bud grows-----and it's greener
The greenist ------of all the others that surround
Roots so profound
Sure to develop blooms renowned
Yet this remains unknown
The wind whispers, "What type of flower are you?"
She answers, "Unbeknown"
There is no clone
She was planted next to a waterfall between sweet grass and course sand
The sun kisses her on one side
On the other shade cools the land
"What type of flower are you," the wind whispers again
"The roots won't tell me," she exclaimed
The wind whispers, "Ask the rain"
Must have been planted over a decade ago
Germination slow
So slow, yet it feels so right
The Light------it shines
Blinds
Appears a cascade of time
So bright
The rain falls
Refusing to witness the light
The seed's growth stalls
Somehow slowly & steadily the roots continue to crawl
Deeper
Deeper
Weed her
Feed her
Finally a bud grows-----and it's greener
The greenist ------of all the others that surround
Roots so profound
Sure to develop blooms renowned
Yet this remains unknown
The wind whispers, "What type of flower are you?"
She answers, "Unbeknown"

She was planted next to a waterfall between sweet grass and course sand

The wind whispers, "Ask the rain"
