Tumbling Down
One day she was fine and normal the next the world came tumbling down.We spent the day in the office
Then setting up treatment dates
They hooked her up to tubes and machines.
She accepted what had to be done.
With courage she walked out of the center.
She cried the day she woke to her hair laying on her pillow.
She wore that wig with a grace all her own.
She walked in to the center every time without fear.
She stayed sick so much for so long.
We, the family, felt the world crashing down all around us.
There was nothing we could do for her but pray and hope for the best.
God came through in overtime.
For she is in remission.
Every July she walks with her family and other survivors.
To find a cure would be awesome
To save a family the pain and struggles she has faced.
Thats why we walk, To find a cure for cancer.
To save someones world form tumbling down.
The family deals with the diagnosis.
An eye opener for everyone.
It always hits at the worst possible time.
It always strikes hard
Hold your head up high,
For you are a survivor,
A symbol of hope to someone who has none.
Find a cure
Find hope.
