TRUSTING YOUR FAITH

NO TRUST IN MY LIFE FOR THE FAITH THAT I LOST,
I BEGAN TO REALIZE THAT MY ADDICTION HAD A COST,
AS I LOOK AT MY IMAGE SCARED OF WHAT I SEE,
THEIR STOOD AN ADDICT I NEVER WANTED TO BE,
NO LONGER CAN I SMILE MY CHOICES TOOK ITS TOLL,
I PRAY FOR SOME GUIDANCE BEFORE THE DEVIL TAKES MY SOUL,
PUNISHED BY MY REFLECTION SO I HAVE TO FACE MY SHAME,
I FOUND MY POWER TO CALL UPON HIS HOLY NAME,
LORD PLEASE FORGIVE ME FOR EVERYTIME I COMMITED A SIN,
I NEED YOU IN MY LIFE SO PLEASE COME BACK IN....

Poetry is not a turning loose of emotion, but an escape from emotion.
