    True Love

Time moves forward and I am so far away from you
I walk around day to day not knowing what to do
I am here you are there, I am gone you are home
I spend each day without you and on my own
How much I love you words could never tell
It feels as though I am under some mystic spell
Enchanted my your touch, Freed by your kiss
You are the one I have come to miss
Thoughts of you run wild through my mind
I cannot wait until it is finally time
For me to be back in your arms once more
I cannot wait to open and walk through that door
Never to leave you again, there I will stay
Next to you is where I shall lay
Each day I will awake to only you
I will spend each day with a love so true
Nothing will put more of a smile on my face
I cannot wait to feel your heavenly embrace
A brush of love upon my skin
More than my love you are also my friend
Nothing in this world could ever say what I want to
No words could ever tell just how much I Love You....

Distance and time make the heart grow fonder. Very nice write. Readers empathize with this as we all have gone through it. Hang in there. Excellent read. Thank you. -Alan

If I feel physically as if the top of my head were taken off, I know that is poetry.

    Emily Dickinson (1830-1886) American poet.
