Tomorrows Yesterday
3/20/98
One of a kind she was indeed
My guardian, my backbone understanding all of my needs
Stronger than life itself, she was firm from the start
Me not accepting one day we would actually be apart
A smile of such wisdom, deep within her heart was so much care
And for me and us all, She was always there
I stare upon her now, she's as beautiful as a ray of sun
I can never thank her, for all the things for me she has done
She disciplined my wrong doings, yet she dried my tears away
She smiled at my accomplishments and under stress she knew exactly what to say
Her touch was of security, her presence was of stability
She accepted these duties, to make life better for me
Under so much pressure and pain, I wouldn't dare ask her to stay
Our memories will never be forgotten, remembering our tomorrows yesterday
