Today Will Be Tomorrow's Good-bye

I am just an Indian girl with Jesus living inside of me
Are you too blind to see that we are dying more each day
And He's reaching out to you and me.

Chances come and then they're gone
We have our chance to come a long.

The beauty fades and loved ones leave
Will this be the world we leave to the blind and lost?

So let's take care of what we can
Before yesterday could be tomorrow's good-bye.

Hear comes the rain
It might wash your tears away.

For my Father who stands beside me
All I can do is write this poem for you to read.

Do you ever think about the future or the past?
Do you ever wonder how long this world will last?

Chances come and now they are gone
You had your chance but waited too long.

The beauty fades and loved ones leave
This will be the world we leave to the blind and lost.

Because today will be tomorrow's good-bye.

I love this poem...Great Job!

The true philosopher and the true poet are one, and a beauty, which is truth, and a truth, which is beauty, is the aim of both.

Ralph Waldo Emerson, American Poet (1803-1882)
