    To Be a Muse

    What does it mean-
    to be the inspiration-
    to be the Muse?
    Does it mean
    listening?
    Second hour devotion
    to an art
    a living-dieing art!-
    Perhaps a simple devotion?
Not the kind that was wanted-
    but needed-
    find it from someone else.-
A beauty to pass the time?
    To boost the ego-
    always to boost the ego-
    To love?...
    To listen with admiration-
to be devoted to a single cause-
    A man;
    a living-dieing man!

Call to us your Muses nine-
    Call to me your Muse-
    but one.

We all long for a muse.... I long for her.... just not to sure if she longs for me in the same way...... red

A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.

    Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
