This Person In My Dreams
I sleep to dream to escape these walls of pressure
Knowing beyond these bars is a person I treasure
Will die searching thirsty is the sweltering desert
For this person with the key to my heart, which stays locked forever
Dreaming of a kiss from your lips to mine
Awakening to a world that is so unkind
Between this person and I there is a strong bind
This person I dream of, dark, lovely, and fine
I haven't figured out this person, they have their ways
A mind so complex it's like running a maze
I look into your eyes, and there, see a blaze
A fire I could burn in for days and days
A smile that can make the stars fall to her feet
A smile that if broken can make a grown man weak
If your love is a bullet, then my wound are deep
Can't understand, for you, all this passion I keep
Can you understand the joy your laughter brings
If there was a kingdom of beauty, you'd be announced Queen
You are my sugar, my sweets, my peaches, my cream
Until the day I return, I'll see you in my dreams
