Thinking Of You Again
Thinking Of You Again
As the dawn takes over the night and morning birds take flight . I hear there sweet song and in no time you cross my mind.
At mid-morning as I sip my tea. I notice the new formed buds on the front yard tree, being kissed by Gods morning sun, and I can’t help but wonder if you could be the one?
As morning gives away to afternoon. I hear children at play. I can’t help but wish you would stop by sometime today.
When Ive finished my all my chores and I am able to kick off my shoes. turning on the evening news. I remember your smile or something you said and visions of you fill my head.
Pulling back the covers of my empty bed. I climb inside. pulling the blankets over my head. I close my eyes and I pray. Thinking God for that day, and all the thoughts I had of you, making this day a little easier to get through.
Angels dance and some will sing, when visions of you fill my dreams. In my dreams you hold me tight. through the darkness till morning light. With this new day I can’t pretend. Yes you gusted it . I’m thinking of you again.
