They say I have a glow…

That I’ve been smiling tooo much lately

That I have a new walk and talk a new talk

They can see it in my eyes,

so they think it’s a lie when I reply

There is no guy

They say my work is more productive

I spend more time outside my home

no one can reach me anymore

I’m more friendly

I’m showing traits that they never saw in me

Im constantly questioned

Who’s the guy and still I  reply

There is no guy

so what I’ve been keeping my hair done

got a new wardrobe,

even bought some new shoes

started wearing makeup,

getting my nails done

I even got my eyebrows waxed to

Okay ..I admit there is someone in my life

BUT honestly there is no guy

It’s a women…a beautiful beautiful woman

I had seen her day after day,

I always walked by with nothing to say

You could tell she wasn’t the girly type

Just went with the flow of life

But one day she really caught my eye

I had to stop and tell her hi

We had a long talk, heart to heart

From then on we were never apart

It only natural that I fell in love

And a man can never love me the way she does

I know you wondering …who is she

For I am her, and she is me.

You cant expect to find love somewhere else

Until you learn to love yourself.
