The Void
I can feel and taste it in the air, it's coming for us and we can do nothing but stare into nothingness waiting for the accepted fate to arrive unexpectedly. How do you dodge a void that so vehemently refuses your will to go to the light, or do what's right. You battle in a struggle to stay alive when it only wants you to give in and die. Coaxing you it okay to sin there is nothing after day turns to night, no repercussions from the wrong that you transgress. It consumes your veins and seeps into your brain It seems the older I get the harder it gets to shake it year after year you learn what he wanted to hide and now you are on your death bed and seeped in the void begging the light please give me one more just to explore the light you ran from all you life. But the void roars and explodes you are consumed by it and feel the sadness and coldness it has feed on for all eternity to come and past.
