    The Uniting of Two People

I am thinking of the possibilities,
Imagining what the future can be.
I'm thinking of what it'll be like
When it's only you and me.

I can't wait to hold your heart.
I don't want to wait to know your soul.
I pray to God to bless us
    And make two seperates whole.

    Two seperates can do nothing
    But together can do much,
For there is nothing in this world
    That love itself can't touch.

I promise to always be your lady.
I only ask of you to be my man.
If we are destined to be together
Nothing can change the Master's plan.

So when the time is correct
Our hearts and souls will unite.
We won't have to be alone
For together the world we can fight!

The true philosopher and the true poet are one, and a beauty, which is truth, and a truth, which is beauty, is the aim of both.

Ralph Waldo Emerson, American Poet (1803-1882)
