The Sun Will Rise
The sun rose again this morning,
Its light shone upon your face.
It brightened our lives without warning,
Then disappeared without a trace.
The sun will rise again,
There’s always another day.
The sun will rise again,
And carry you away,
Through the bluest skies,
Where birds fly around so free.
Someday the sun will rise,
And bring you back to me.
I’ll just sit and wait for the sun,
I’ll just sit and wait for you, my only one.
