The Seasons Of Our Love
The Seasons Of Our Love Spring– and our love leaps into bloom
Like a virgin flower that finds it’s flow
We meet across a room and love lights our fire
One look in your eyes and we sparkLike a star that aims and makes it’s mark.
Summer
– And the flow explodes
We blend and grow in what we’ve found
And give thanks to The Almighty for giving us each other.
Our bodies, our minds and our hearts bulge with love
And eternity seems eternal, love seems forever.
Autumn
– Ahh -The season of change,
When the entire world see things from a different angle.
Our overgrowth is ripe but our souls seem to differ
In this intricate web of feelings that has overcome us.
We tug and fight and ebb and flow and ponder the feelings that have grown.
We are so deep, we need each other, but only when the passion exerts it’s power…
Winter
-The season of death – or is this the season of rebirth?
Our love has grown and sown deep roots as we have blended our lives together,
But each root has branched to deeper levels of our true beings that extend way beyond the original spark
And this love reveals it’s true self even in the dark.
We cannot be but what we are and time makes us reveal every inner mar.
And so we – as lowly souls – must choose the road of love or lose.
Can we face the seasons and fierce the passion
Or do we lose what true love spells
And embrace another cruel mission!!
Love is a never-ending circle of give and take
Of birth, death and re-birth
The cycle never ends like the seasons never change.
