The reality of love
The reality of love, who can explain?
Sometimes I think it’s a feeling but other times I don’t.
Other times I think it’s a magnetic force but I also think it’s just a belief.
I heard my mother say it was a decision and my father that it was a commitment.
When she tells me she loves me, what does she really mean?
When I say I love her, what am I really saying?
I know it is not just my imagination because I feel it when I look in her eyes.
I feel it when she is right next to me.
I feel it on the phone line when speaking with her…It is real!
I know it is real because when she is not with me, I still feel it but in the form of pain.
It pains when she is not near me. It pains when I can’t speak with her on the phone.
It pains when she is nowhere near….and that pain is also real!
Pain of love is so strong it blocks the throat when hurt by a lover. It upsets the stomach
And messes up the appetite…. Love is so real but who can explain it?
Only those who open doors to it will experience its fullness. Only those willing to give it will receive it. It is not for the selfish, the cowards, the weak and certainly not for the fake.
Love is real but who can explain it……Like the wind, Love can only be explained by its effects. Love is real and love is powerful.
The reality of love lies in the reality of its effects.
Sometimes I think it’s a feeling but other times I don’t.
Other times I think it’s a magnetic force but I also think it’s just a belief.
