    Poem Commentary

    The Prize

    By: Josh Shafer

    7-31-2008

*Inspired by Rain (not about anyone in particular)

    The Prize

    The most passionate of kisses

    The most loving embrace

    Your sweet and soft voice

As you sing to me with grace

I love the way you hold me

    Cuddling by the fire

    Whispering to me sweet nothings

    Driving up my desire

    I want to kiss you

    To look into your eyes

    Touching your soft body

    Licking you, you feel suprised

    Lust and passion engulf me

Asking you to let me in

    Sharing each others energy

    Creation is not a sin

    Waking up beside you

    Looking into your eyes

That’s when I know I love you for sure

Forever, our love is the prize
