The Mirror
Shhhhh my worst enemy is here
He comes and he goes
Why he comes back
I don't even know
I could…. I know I could
kill him with ease
put the gun to his head
and watch him bleed
I could do it in; only a second,
I would even be cool about it and let you pick the weapon
Die by a gun; or die by a knife
Your blood would come out with one quick slice
I try so hard to find a way
To get rid of you, but you stay,
Why the hell; won't you go,
Why can't you just die, just leave me alone,
I was doing so well but then you came back
Why can't you just die and cut me some slack
I was trying, trying to do so well
But then you came back and now I'm in hell
Now the tears are running down my cheek
And I want to yell but I cannot speak
It would be so easy; I could do it real fast
Put the gun to my head and let the bullet blast
But killing you would do me no good
For if I could do it; you know I would
Everyone tells me you'll be ok
You'll get through it; tomorrow is another day
But that though only goes so far
Why was I dealt this deck of cards
But know I left here with the shit you caused
While you sit back and look smug and applaud
Well you've won; so what should I do
You turn from the mirror and hand me the noose
So now we are dead and there will be
Nothing more because I was my worst enemy.
