    The Minstral

    The Minstral

The music flows from a quill and harp,
The essence of a soul revealed,
He grieves with the tune he is strumming,
But the music is his shield.
A common lad with a song so sad,
    Of a truly fatal life,
With no blood line to claim,
    Nor favor to save them,
Their lives ever filled with strife!

A wonderful ode to the bard. I have often wondered what it would have been like to live back then. Write on....

Cool Cool, I dont get a lot of response from it. But I like it!

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
