    Destiny's way

My life it seems to be as a dream,
    I know where I’m going,
And, I know what I’ve seen,
But as I go down destiny’s way,
I grow farther from the world of today,
The feeling of difference is always around me,
A strange sense of power too ever surround me,
As time goes on a new life keeps arriving,
To take the place of the old one I strive in.
My family of first, were my teachers from birth,
Of the quality of life, to be creatures of earth,
My path, ever changing, is so different from theirs,
They accept me, though different, as one of their heirs,
I feel their love for me will ever exist,
But my disfavor by man keeps their minds in a mist,
A fog that thickens with each given day,
To block their understanding of a son who’s away.
The world had taken this boy from his birth,
To temper his life with the fire’s of earth,
The One, wished to gain his tormented soul,
So the power He fed him was all to his goal,
The boy took heart, with the temper of steel,
And knowledge of life to show him what is real,
So sealed in the fortress of flesh and blood,
His heart gained the power of the One who’s above,
Though not unleashed for the likeness of man,
The power remains in the touch of his hand.
Kindness and favor to those of his heart,
The love that he gives is his strongest of parts,
To give as a gift to all who accept,
To forgive and still hope for those who reject,
For all who have favor of this temple of mine,
God’s grace be to them till the end of man’s time
