The Guard Dogs Lament
They think i am lazey, but it`s not that hard.Waiting luring and lying on guard.
My ears eyes and nose,
tell me whats, in the yard.
But if you should trespass,
it`s my teeth that you see,
when i bite you so hard.
The Guard Dogs Lament
They think i am lazey, but it`s not that hard.Poetry is not an expression of the party line. It's that time of night, lying in bed, thinking what you really think, making the private world public, that's what the poet does.
Allen Ginsberg (1926-1997) U.S. poet.
