    The Dragon's Den

Intense are the stares as I enter
Thus seen by our own eyes
Else eyes do observe be they divine
    When so they do weep

Through and through oh the heavens do sigh
And through the moans are they not heard
If so received on def ears
And sentenced to dungeons in the heart

    How the devils do taunt
    Not with gestures nor laughter
Though moans as taunts do serve
So does the flesh which tempts me so

Horrific a sight when an angel does sin
As a righteous knight enters the dragon's den
