The Diaster In It All
Sometimes life seems to pass us so fast
Sometimes we feel as though
We are on the outside looking in
Watching as the world wipes by us
In slow motion and complete silence
Things seem unreal at times
We count our blessings
As we grunt about our wants
Sometimes we feel as though
Our fairy tale is in someone else's hand
We all make choices in life
As it is inevitable
But after it is made
Is it necessary to doubt
The choices that have been made
Mistakes are made to learned from
Forgiveness is meant to heal the wound
So when we make a mistake
We are to forgive
As well as to be forgiven
So when we think about how time flies
Why is it that mistakes that are learned from
The hardest to make pass
We seem to replay it in our heads
As if we were then
So how is it that we can fully move forward
In this fast paced life we are in
If we can never erase the mistakes
That we relive in our minds
So please tell me
How can I go about my day
Knowing that at the end of the day
I am the disaster in the truth of things
Sometimes we feel as though
We are on the outside looking in
Watching as the world wipes by us
In slow motion and complete silence
Things seem unreal at times
We count our blessings
As we grunt about our wants
Sometimes we feel as though
Our fairy tale is in someone else's hand
We all make choices in life
As it is inevitable
But after it is made
Is it necessary to doubt
The choices that have been made
Mistakes are made to learned from
Forgiveness is meant to heal the wound
So when we make a mistake
We are to forgive
As well as to be forgiven
So when we think about how time flies
Why is it that mistakes that are learned from
The hardest to make pass
We seem to replay it in our heads
As if we were then
So how is it that we can fully move forward
In this fast paced life we are in
If we can never erase the mistakes
That we relive in our minds
So please tell me
How can I go about my day
Knowing that at the end of the day
I am the disaster in the truth of things
