    The Deception of One's Perception

The deception of one's perception, whose reality may be in question,

for it's only one's reality - to consider others ... would be a formality.

Tainted by past experiences and assuming one's own pretenses; we perceive what we will on what we know... not what is real.

There are very few that care about the truth. Most of us cling... to the lies of our youth.

Twisting and churning, digesting and burning - anxiety attacks and frustrations are back,

if only.... we would see just the facts,
emotions aside... we all could relax.

The trick's of one's mind, conclusions undefined,
communications have been lost over time.

The deception of one's perception... I conclude it's unkind.

Wonderfully lyrical description of the power of personal perspective and subjective reasoning – Really impressive!

Great use of quick meter to create emotion and to build the point as you move forward to the conclusion - much of life indeed is how we perceive things, we can be positive or our own worst enemies... write on write on!

the carnal mind is at war with God. It refuses truth and must be cast down through the washing of the water of the word! only...

The true philosopher and the true poet are one, and a beauty, which is truth, and a truth, which is beauty, is the aim of both.
