    The Chrysalis

    The Chrysalis...

In the depth of my crucible
    Wrapped bound and tight
    I struggle every day.
Sometimes I can see the light
Looming over me like an aura
Through the smokey haze I wonder...
    Is this all a dream?
The pain, it can hurt so much
Glory waiting to be set free.
To see the sunshine, to dance in the rain.
I am not who I am to become
    Just a mere image
    I can feel the change.
I hear you out there, calling my name
    Dont ever stop.
    You are my solace.
    My Knight, my King!
As I see more clearly everyday,
I know that I will become what I am destined for.
    Are you with me?
    I love you, forever!
    More than life itself.
I want to be set free,
So I can be bound in your love

The true philosopher and the true poet are one, and a beauty, which is truth, and a truth, which is beauty, is the aim of both.

Ralph Waldo Emerson, American Poet (1803-1882)
