The Answer

The answer to your question-
"What do I see in you"?

You show upfront no matter what you are doing in life-you have to be real and true.
You don't dodge and lie-you straight up tell it like it is-no questioning why.
You always look me in the eyes and actually pay attention to everything I say.
You have shown me such respect day by day.
Some people may judge what you do with your life, but they don't see it's what you have to do to support your kids and even your wife.
You see through me deeper than anyone has in a long time-people like you are so hard to find.
I feel no matter what you will always be a friend of mine.
You are so sweet, so warm, so real-that's why it's so hard to describe all the ways and reasons about you I feel.

I really loved and appreciated your way with words in this poem. It really puts a perspective on that age-old question. What do you see in me? Your answer was perfect.

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
