    Starting New

I want to start a new-I definitely want it to be with you.  I know I have a lot of things I need to change. I know at times I have been acting really strange.  I care so much about you. I promise I do and I know it has been the last thing I have ever shown to you!
I keep saying what a good person I am and want to be-that has been heard by you but yet to be seen.  You keep on saying how much you love me and will always be here-where me I say I love you and only fill you with fear.  You try to let me be independent-doing my thing with nothing but trust. I know now what you need from me is not only a request, but for this to work a must.

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
