That Dayum Brown
A homie lover friend,
I guess that's what some would call it.
I just like to call her Crown,
And I'm quite the alcoholic.
I can go days without her,
But enjoy having her regularly.
Sip on that Brown slowly or
Take shots of her frequently.
Recently, she has become,
Part of my daily routine.
Breakfast, lunch, dinner,
And all snacks in between.
It's an unrequited love,
Oh how I can't get enough of her.
I fill my glass up with Brown,
And with a finger I gently stir.
Her taste has my mind swirling,
Got my vision goin blurry.
My infatuation with Mrs Crown
Has me tryin not to hurry.
I savor every drop of Brown,
And always return for more.
I keep my shelf stocked with Crown,
I'm addicted to her allure.
She's by my side when I'm alone
Just passing away some free time.
Or even when I'm with a crowd,
She keeps me oh so occupied.
I've tried other brands before,
Cheap ones, knock off, and even mixed.
But those other drinks and me,
Couldn't seem to coexist.
Some were independent,
Rather be strong than have any flavor.
Tried to get me to change my taste,
Then change back again later.
The mixed ones managed to taste ok,
But I completely acted a dayum fool.
So stuck in trying to mix her in my life,
I got myself kicked out of school.
Never want to revisit those types,
So for now I keep a simple thirst.
I'll take her now, have her last,
Drink her second, and love her first.
I'm a hard man to please yet,
It appears to be easy for that Brown,
I'll never tire of lifting her up,
Or making sure she puts me down.
Let me make a toast and
Celebrate my infatuation with Crown.
I can't get enough of her so,
With me she will always be down.
Through the good times and bad,
She's always been there to make me smile.
Even if only a couple rounds with her,
Puts me to bed once in a while.
I guess that's what some would call it.
I just like to call her Crown,
And I'm quite the alcoholic.
