~TEENAGE MOM~

LOST IN SPACE
SOMEWHERE ON EARTH
A YOUNG GIRL
IS ABOUT TO GIVE BIRTH

SHE FEELS
SO SCARED AND ALL ALONE
AND THAT DEFINATELY
CHILLS HER TO THE BONE

A CHILD HERSELF
SHE DOES NOT KNOW WHICH WAY TO TURN
TO HER, THE WHOLE WORL IS AGAINST HER
AND SHE'S FEELING THE BURN

ABOUT TO BRING
A CHILD INTO THIS WORLD
ALTHOUGH SHE ATE RIGHT
AND SHE DID EVERYTHING ELSE SHE SHOULD

SHE HAS ALOT OF FAMILY
SHE HAS ALOT OF FRIENDS
BUT THOSE THAT ARE TRUE
WILL REMAIN BESIDE HER IN THE END.

The true philosopher and the true poet are one, and a beauty, which is truth, and a truth, which is beauty, is the aim of both.

Ralph Waldo Emerson, American Poet (1803-1882)
