Tears
As you came in;
I looked at your lovely face, washed by a torrent of tears,
and my heart filled up with fears...
In your eyes;
I could see the pain you had inside,
the sorrows that were invading your mind.
When you saw me;
you tried to run away,
but I stopped you from doing it.
You tried to evade me,
in an attempt to keep the to yourself,
knowing that as you suffer, I suffer as well.
You threw yourself in my arms,
besause you know, they are your shelter from any harm,
leaned on my shoulder and cried.
You held me tight...
really tight,
and I kept you in my sight.
As you cried, tears came out of my eyes.
My fears drowned up my words,
I wanted to ask you what was wrong, but I was afraid to do so.
You didn't want to tell me,
I didn't want to know, I was afraid of what could be wrong...
I feared it could be the end of us.
"I became one of those tears;
I was born in your eyes,
grew on you cheeks, died at your lips.
That day... death came to claim a part of me"
I looked at your lovely face, washed by a torrent of tears,
and my heart filled up with fears...
