Hunter
You run,
I chase...
I hide,
You search.
It is a very dangerous game that we play;
two hunters that treat each other as pray.
Smart by nature;
wild by profession.
We embrace the hunt
because of its dangerous situations.
It may go against our human natures,
yet we allow ourselves to be overcome
by our animal behaviours.
I can feel your eyes from across the room,
watching all of my moves.
Your knife like claws coming out of hiding,
ready to be tested against my flesh.
No emotions, you are willing to show;
quickly and silently is your approach.
Now I can see your claws,
and your eyes, staring at my very heart.
You know emotions are my strengh,
silence is not part of my arsenal.
My loud, dreadful, yet beutyful cry
strikes you deep inside.
You have fallen into my trap,
you can see the moon's reflection in my fangs.
I'm protected by luna's light.
Seven deadly sins,
seven dreadful temptations;
take over us
whenever we find eachothers trails.
Proud of our skills, we are.
Eachothers stenghs awake our cavetiousness
making us feel envy.
Yet we are drawn to eachother by lust,
and the insatiable feeling of gluttony it awakes in us.
Filled with spiritual sloth,
we stare at eachothers wrathful eyes
Ready to risk it all;
we find ourselves trapped within four walls,
trying to make eachother fall
and plummet directly into love
Ready to win or loose everything we got;
simply because thats the way chosen for us.
We risk our freedoms,
because they are the thing most dear to us.
We face eachother in a deadly dance...
respecting one another,
we know only one shall win the fight.
Fearful of the feeling that resides in our hearts.
We neglect the possibility...
that one of us will loose control
and become the prey to love.
