    Tear Down the Wall

There's a problem we seem ta have
It's bearin a burden in this ole mind
And while beginnin ta sit n ponder this
Brings up a story, of another day n time

Ya see God begin preparin ole Joshua
Ta march his army around that wall
And He said by followin His instructions
When the time's right, that wall would fall

Now Joshua did, exactly as he'z told
Puttin it mildly, why he did it quite well
He set out that day ta tear walls down
While in one accord, they began ta yell

There's another story, of the most import
That took it's place in the upper room
The church multiplied in birth that day
Saving many from an untimely doom

But since that day, we've been buildin walls
Walls that us Christians, could not afford
Then wonder why is it, our pews aren't full?
Lord! Why can't we get, in one accord?

We've built these walls with about everything
From using color then sand and stones
Some churches prosper in dollars n cents
While inside the walls, are a lotta dry bones

Now like I said, there's a burden been laid
And I feel it's time ta answer Gods Call
The time is right! Satan you're in for a fight
Because we're here ta "Tear Down The Wall"
