    Star Filled Night

    In star filled night
Walking along in these empty streets
I find myself in the thoughts
That wrap around this heart of mine
Like the echo of your voice that rolls around
    In the wind...
It softly caresses and drifts my attention aside
    As I walk along...
I keep your faces as a shadow that holds hands in the night.

You have a quiet calm about your poems and thoughts. Never intrusive, rather, simple and quite lovely.

    Why, thank you!

Poetry is not an expression of the party line. It's that time of night, lying in bed, thinking what you really think, making the private world public, that's what the poet does.

    Allen Ginsberg (1926-1997) U.S. poet.
