Spirits call

The land of the Haida,
First Nation..

Proud and strong,
like the Eagle that soars..

The songs they sing,
stories of their people..

Strait of Georgia,
the vein of life..

Orca their cousin,
see's the past..

Deer the brother,
ears of the future..

Mountains the stairway,
to the after world..

beautiful poem with great flow and the animal images love it

A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.

Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
