Song

                    Song
There is a song in my heart
                I want to sing,
I want to sing it throughout the
world with a big huge ring.
           My song is about love,
           the love from up above.
A love so pure and true,
and will never let you feel blue.
A love that will help you grow,
and for the world to show.
that Jesus is in my heart,
          and He will never part.
            He is here to stay,
and to Him I pray each and everyday.
My song is about joy from the Lord,
and the time I spend in His Holy Word.

Not a lot of people can easily express their beliefs about God, but you made the words flow like the rain. Your words are very true, and I pray to Him every night before bed, hoping that he will bless everyone in my life. Now I will be adding a new friend into that prayer.

I think some poems are culture- bond, but yours, I believe is free of that kind of bind. So, even me, who is from another country can communicate with it easily. On the whole, it was a very beautiful and impressive poem.

Thankyou so much for your comment, I am really glad you liked it.

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
