    Poem Commentary

This poem was created because I was really sturggeling with some issues in my life and this poem is about my best friend, the words in quotes were exactly what I needed to hear to get my mind and focus back on Christ. also the title was credited to another c,lose frien, B. Sari

    Someone who Cares

As I sit and gaze at the world around me

I wonder how many of the people,

have trouble and trials as great as mine,

then I am reminded  by someone who cares,

"No matter thy trial or tribulation,

no matter how great thy doubts and fears,

the God of all creation, the Savior and Lord,

    will always be near.

to comfort and guide and to dry every tear.

As I sit and stare at the world around me,

I often think about how my life,

has thrown me here and there.

I often think about  how hard and hopeless it all seems,

in the very darkest hour of the day.

Then I am reminded by someone who cares,

"The God of all creation, The Lord and Savior,

sent His only son, to die on the cross of Calvary,

    for you and for me.

Then I am retold again and again,

the God of all creation, the Savior and Lord,

    will always be near.

to comfort and guide and to dry every tear.

This is a great poem, if I still had mine on here I'd ask you to read Lord of the Sky, my 1st shot at a religious poem. You have such a talent, that makes many jealous. The point of the poem is well presented. If you ever need someone to talk to, I'm here. I might actually be miles away, but the computer is a wonderful invention =3

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
