    Some How I Knew

From the moment I saw you there was something unique about you that made me curious enough to inquire who is that person?
Then as time elapse and our relationship transcended beyond acquaintances I began to adore you.
Your silly sense a humor and smile your kindness your style.
I knew then we would be best friends forever.
Though we are quite different in many ways
Our similitude defies all boundaries of friendship and makes us more like sisters.
We chuckle at the same jokes
We giggle about the same folks
We know when each other needs time alone or when one needs to provide a listening ear over the telephone.
Though we had our rocky times whereby we’ve gone through dry spells. Once the winter season was over we were out in the hot summer air having a stupendous time as if we did not know what the phrase “we’re not talking” meant.
One of the awesome traits about you is your childlike innocence.
You are not vindictive or spiteful but quite the contrary, kind, forgiving and accepting. You are true beauty to me not pseudo and superficial but real and eternal. You are a real friend.
Very few people get the real chance to experience such a relationship.
Rather our relationship was up or down those that knew the two of us knew we could not clash for long.
Our friendship was inevitable we probably did not know we’d be friends for these many years but God did.
I am glad some things are not in our control. Some things are predestined and divinely planned. And I have a strong inkling we will always be apart of each other’s destiny.

Excellent point its hard to get friends like this that is true destiny great poem how did you get published

Poetry is not an expression of the party line. It's that time of night, lying in bed, thinking what you really think, making the private world public, that's what the poet does.

    Allen Ginsberg (1926-1997) U.S. poet.
