    Society tells us who they want us to be....

     Society tells us who they want us to be
    this doesn't make anyone better than me
    You start believing if you've been told alot
    but rise above with all the strength you've got
    If we learn to live in an equal land
    Each need we then know how to understand
    those dressed in rags or or in a beautiful dress
    At the same time both wanting happiness
    Society tells us who they want us to be
    But all I want is to be happy and free

    Society has set standards, that's for sure. But those who matter will always appreciate the beauty that comes from originality.
