    If...

     If all the sidewalks played music
    as you walked along the street
     people would dance to work
    by the rhythm of their feet

    If all the people were understanding
     they all gave peace a chance
    people would open their minds
    with smiles from every glance

    If all the countries were linked
    with one giant daisy chain
    We could lay in blissful sunshine
    or climb over for a splash of rain

    If we all followed one rule
    spread love throughout the land
    any age would become youthful
    like every grain of sand

    If we all said No to war
    and we all learnt to be free
    through compromise one world came
    then what a better world it'll be
