Sins Of My Parents

This blood of mine

Darkened by him

And then lightened by her.

Frowns upon me.

 

I myself am where

Darkness meets light

Where night

Mingles with day

 

Where dark lips gave

Pure kisses

 

And lightened hands

Caressed earthen hips.

 

Too early,

A baby,

Regret .

i love the insight of this poem and the emotion put into it. it made it diffucult to read because of the small words but it added to the picture's colors. the doubt of ones self worth indeed needed the small text great job.

This poem is awsome!!! I like the dark feal...Its depressing....Its hard to come from a sin and be brought up with a struggle of exceptance.... I understand the pain of teenage pregnancies...Im not a case but I have many friends who are pregnant or have mothers and fathers not much older than them. Their parents regret having them at such an early age and there for have to deal with the dark sides of their child because they can only look at their own pain not thinking about how much pain the ch

teen pregnancy is a very serious problem in this country. no teen is ready for what is about to happen when they have a child. there life changes forever. you cant take it back. very good poem thanks for sharing
