Burdened

Burdened

My smiles are smiled but

Smiled slowly.

Eyes dead

Mind burdened

Words from my mouth go

Unheard

Slashes of the pen are angrily made

Across the paper

Stolen from me were many

Memories

I go in search of the

Truth

My printed words are personalized

Can you see your name imprinted

On the private space?

Between the lines

it looks to me that you are very angry in this one. perhaps someone that you want to hear you does not. ummm I hear and I can read between the lines. Good JOBBBB

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
