    Sing Me New

    Sing to me.
    you silent voices.
    Raging waters, drown my calm.
    Scented petals,
    proem faces,
    sing not troubles,
    bring delights.

    Deaf and mute
    I stand before thee
    crystalline your rhythms thrum.
Sing me not of death impending,
    sing me peace,
    rendering foresight.

    Sing me new,
    deep raw caresses,
    of a lover's
    moist lips on mine.
    Not of corpses,
    exploding trenches,
    rotting stilled sons,
    with Purple Hearts.
