    Silent stare

I sit alone here in my chair.
My thoughts can't wander here nor there.
    Focused on that silent stare,
that smile that spans from ear to ear,
the silky flowing strands of hair.
Yet single days seem like a year
when others feelings fill the air.
My heart it deepens with dispair.
I long to feel that silent stare.
Knees push my chair back without a care,
I thrust my fist into the air,
and scream aloud cause no ones here.
"I Fucking hate this! Lifes not fair!"

A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.

    Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
