    Her wheel

I cannot see why i should feel
that my heart sits upon her wheel
    Spinning with the others there
While words that sound queer fill the air
"Do not worry there my dear"
"Our time togethers not to fear"
"were only friends" is what i hear
My heart it screams "Get out of here"
I can't decide which voice to hear
ones in my head or in my ear
silence them both for my own sake
I'll stay alone so hearts won't break
From constant lessons I shall take
    the many facets of mistake
and roll them on the crashing break
to ponder with all else I take
    wishful thinking should set in
and brighten futures thought as dim
surely there has been some sin
for my long journey will not begin
I contemplate the hell I'm in
piss and moan cause life seems grim
truth be known i know no fear
which just confirmes I must not care
I thought myself of goodly men
In truth I know not to love again.

Hey now, don't give up so soon, Mr. Modenkane, every love experience just makes you more love experienced :) .

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.

John F. Kennedy (1917-1963) Thirty-fifth President of the USA
