    Silence

He stands and watches in silence
as the tears fall down my cheek.
He steps closer by a little.
I can't see anything but his eyes.
I wonder in my mind what I am supposed to do.
He wipes the tears slowly away.
I see him and I fall so hard in my heart.
I hear him ask what's wrong.
    I can't speak.
    Everything is silent.
He looks down and kisses me in silence.
I sit and wait for him to go.
I mean why not, everyone else has.
Why should he be any different.
He looks at me I am an angel.
He treats me like I am a princess.
    And everything is still
    Silence between us both.

    TRUE LOVE IS UNCONDITIONAL.

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
