    My Everything

    My island, my refuge.
My shelter in this storm called life.
my thoughts crash in the deep hole in my mind.
    I sit here naked.
    Im broken,battered,busted,and brused.
I wander threw the empty streets.
    People hide in there homes.
I seek you out to find my place.
    You are my harbor.
    My day.
    My night.
    My life.
    My love.
    My night.
    My island.
    My refuge.
    You are my everything.

This is a very good poem. I really like it

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
