    Sight of Night

    So still the trees
    of a peaceful night

    A memory held
    from the moments sight

And yet some see but shall not stay
so to great moments waste away

So listen well, let all sound fail
to hear the calm of nature's hail.

The true philosopher and the true poet are one, and a beauty, which is truth, and a truth, which is beauty, is the aim of both.

Ralph Waldo Emerson, American Poet (1803-1882)
