Shower

Steaming
Hydrogen2 Oxygen molecules
Pelt
Our unveiled torsos

My chin lifts-
I look on
As
Bubbles collapse
Over bosom
Convening down
Nape of back
Into Rivu
lets cascading
Upon thigh
Expedited with alacrity to
Calf
Toe
On and away from
Your hydrated skin

The streams converge
Rendezvous toward
A steel cylinder and copper plumbing
Swirling amass, off and away

The true philosopher and the true poet are one, and a beauty, which is truth, and a truth, which is beauty, is the aim of both.

Ralph Waldo Emerson, American Poet (1803-1882)
